ISPT is one of Australia's leading property managers, growing into a $20B portfolio of properties across Australia over 30 years.

For their their prime Sydney and Melbourne properties, they had a nightmare in managing the digital lock system on their lockers in the base building. This is because:

  • They were spending $60K annually to replace batteries on the locks.
  • Couldn't track who had used the lockers, which would be an issue for lockers with items left in there for over six years.
  • Had a poor user experience, with users trying to find an available locker by tapping each of the readers on the lockers.

Ultimately they needed to replace the system because they were servicing potentially over 30,000 users within the building.

Yellowbox were successful in the tender process and in providing a seamless and technology focused solution, that could be retrofitted onto ISPT's existing lockers:

  • Providing a cloud-based locker system that could be remotely managed and opened by building management and each individual tenant (for only their lockers).
  • Multiple self-serve booking types, including permanent, visitor and hot locker use (with lockers bookings all set to end at 7pm on Friday).
  • Touchscreen Kiosk PIN access for users when storing RFID card and mobile phone, e.g. post shower locker access.
  • Simple Touchscreen Kiosk Cleaner mode to access all unbooked lockers to clean.
  • Wired lock retrofit, to ensure no battery changes required.
