Stanwell, one of Australia’s leading energy providers, recently upgraded their office as part of a move towards a more flexible, hot desking environment. Previously operating with a 1:1 locker-to-employee ratio, Stanwell required a locker system that would support their shift to hot desking while optimising space efficiency.
Stanwell partnered with Yellowbox to retrofit nearly 600 lockers with a wired solution, significantly improving the user experience. Employees can now access lockers by simply swiping their access card or using the Yellowbox mobile app, offering flexible, multi-access options.
This system removed the need for manual locker management, saving Stanwell approximately 1,500 hours annually in administrative tasks. Additionally, seamless access for users saved close to 1,800 hours per year that would have otherwise been spent resolving locker access issues.
